Durmitorska Bajka is a collection of wood-and-stone mountain cabins on Žabljak, in the heart of Montenegro’s Durmitor National Park. Sitting at 1,456 metres, minutes from the Black Lake and the Tara Canyon, it’s a retreat built for rest, nature, and larger gatherings of 20+ guests. In hospitality, the website is the shop window — for a place this scenic, it had to make visitors feel the mountain air before they ever arrived.
Accommodation websites live and die on two things: emotion and speed. A potential guest decides in seconds whether a place feels like the escape they’re picturing — and then expects an effortless path from that feeling to a booking.
The site needed to showcase the cabins and their surroundings with rich, high-resolution photography without becoming slow or heavy, present the full experience (nature, local cuisine, horse riding, hiking, rafting), serve both a regional and an international audience, and rank in search for Žabljak and Durmitor accommodation queries. Beautiful but slow would lose bookings; fast but flat wouldn’t inspire them.
We designed and developed the Durmitorska Bajka website on Next.js, deployed on Vercel — a stack chosen specifically for speed and image performance.

Durmitorska Bajka has a website that does what great hospitality sites do: it makes you want to be there. Fast-loading, richly visual, and built around the guest’s journey from daydream to reservation, it presents the cabins and the whole Durmitor experience in one immersive place — and gives the owners a modern booking channel ready for both individual travellers and large groups.
